 The sixth edition of the T20 World Cup will kick off on October 17 in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. There will be two halves of the tournament. In Round 1, the teams from the T20 World Cup qualifiers, as well as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, will compete for four Super 12 spots. The top two teams from each of the two Super 12 groups will progress to the T20 World cup 21 elimination phase. 

In the first match of the tournament, Oman will take against Papua New Guinea.
